In addition, heat shrink labels are used in these markets to snugly fit to attractive and complex container shapes that paper labels cannot conform to. In consumer products, heat shrink tubing is utilized as electrical insulation and is commonly found in battery and capacitor manufacturing.  In sporting good and industrial markets, heat shrink tubing is used as a protective coating to prevent damage or for decorative purposes.
